You are cordially invited to a discussion on
Violence Against Labour in NCR and Beyond

Monday, 17 September 2012, 2 PM

Gandhi Peace Foundation
Deen Dayal Upadhyay Marg, New Delhi

Speakers include
Pravin Jha (Jawaharlal Nehru University)
B.T. Kaul (Faculty of Law, Delhi University)
T.K. Rajalakshmi (Frontline)
Anil Kumar (General Secretary, AITUC, Gurgaon)
Dunu Roy (Hazards Centre)
P.K. Shahi (AIFTU)
Prasenjit Bose (Activist)

Although dramatic and extreme violent occasions have occasionally forced public attention on condition of workers in the region, this event will focus on the endemic and institutional violence against labour. We will bring together a cross section of experiences to stimulate thinking about future directions.
