Join us at Girard Public Library for our 9th Ag Day on Thursday, March 28th from 9:00 am - 3:00 pm!

The following presenters have been confirmed for Ag Day 2024:

~ Southwest Mobile Dairy (Times to be announced)

~ Heartland Rural Electric - 9:00 am - 12:00 pm

~ Adaven Rohling - K-State Research & Extension - Incubators and Chicks

~ Ruth Zimmerman - Story Time with "Turtle's Day Out" (Children's Department inside)

~ Agronomist - Producer's Cooperative Association - "Wheat and All Its Wonders"

~ Feed Manager - Producer's Cooperative Association - "Feeding Livestock Feeds You"

~ Girard FFA

~ Jan Mikrut - Rope Making

Ag Day Coloring Contest for Ages 0-4

Open to children Ages 0-4. Coloring pages may be picked up at both desks at the library. Entries due to the library by 7:00 pm on Monday, March 18th.

Ag Day Art Contest for Ages 5-18

Open to children Ages 5-18 in the following age groups: Ages 5-8; Ages 9-11; and Ages 12-18. Artwork should be original to the artist. Parents/caregivers should not help with the artwork in any way. Entries due to the library by 7:00 pm on Monday, March 18th.
