Dear Market Supporters,
The forecast for Sunday looks promising, not too hot, not too cold and not raining...could Autumn finally be upon us at last!
We have some great veggies coming to market,
we've
got white corn, yellow squash, shelled butter peas, lima beans,
cantaloupe, tomatoes, and organic watermelon this Sunday and maybe some pumpkins....you'll need to get there early for those.
If you have been by the market in the past 2 weeks you will have noticed either Paul or myself at The Mercantile's booth - their GM, Gloria was badly flooded a few weeks back so we offered to help out with the booth, we know how important the baguettes & pimento cheese are to y'all! Anyway, The Merc are back on full steam ahead so this week stop by Hardright Bakery's booth where I'll be selling their delicious pecan, peach and apple pies as well as fresh baked breads.
We also have Halloween Scrappy Skirts coming to the market, made by a local grandma, they are the cutest things ever and a must have for every little girl this Halloween. Plus Tiffany's Candles for Autism Awareness have a delcious new seasonal candle - Pumpkin Pie - it's fab!
Don't forget your 15% Market Shoppers discount on your lunch/brunch at any of our local restaurants with any market purchase.
See you in The Square!
And thanks for supporting the market!
Abbie
