Browser stutter/freeze?

I'm having an issue with Gmail, where whenever I have Gmail open in
Firefox, it stutters, freezing every 3 seconds or so, just briefly but
it continues as long as I have Gmail open. I do not have this issue
in any other browser. Is it a Labs issue or something else?

Sounds like a bad cache. Try clearing your cookies and cache and see if the problem still exists.--
