The author is Exec. Dir. of a climate policy think tank. He says that Pres. Biden and the Democrats have not made enough progress on reforming democracy. He argues for:
- Using Article III to remove campaign finance from the jurisdiction of SCOTUS.
- Passing voting rights reforms [similar to Freedom to Vote Act and John R. Lewis Act].
- Reforming the SCOTUS with more justices, term limits, and the SCERT bill.
- Adopting the National Popular Vote Interstate Compact.
