Contact Congress to stop illegal war against Iran
Trump’s decision to start a war against Iran is illegal for numerous reasons:
Trump’s “negotiators” – Witkoff and Kushner – have multi-billion-dollar personal financial interests with Gulf oil states such as UAE and Saudi Arabia who are promoting the war
There was no imminent threat against the United States
Iran’s nuclear weapons capability was “totally obliterated” according to Trump himself
Congress was not consulted.
Trump has initiated this war at the behest of Israeli leader Bibi Netanyahu. It looks and feels as though the US is subservient to Israel, despite Israel’s reliance on US military aid. Meanwhile, Fox News reports that only 27% of Americans support the military action against Iran.
Regime change cannot be brought about solely through the use of air power. The US intervention in Libya, for example, has been disastrous for Libya and its neighbors.
War Powers resolutions are pending in both the US House of Representatives and the Senate. If you agree that the war on Iran should be stopped, please call Congress right away. Votes could be imminent.
