Dear Beloved in Christ,

Greetings in Jesus name who said, "Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or about your body, what you will wear.” – Luke 12:22

Message for the new year: James Hudson Taylor was a British medical missionary to China. He spent 51 years in China and was responsible for bringing over 800 missionaries to the country who began 125 schools and directly resulted in 18,000 Christian conversions. He shared two thoughts on anxiety and worry.

“I am no longer anxious about anything, as I realize the Lord is able to carry out His will, and His will is mine. It makes no matter where He places me, or how. That is rather for Him to consider than for me; for in the easiest positions He must give me His grace, and in the most difficult, His grace is sufficient.”

His final thought on worry:

"The branch of the vine does not worry, and toil, and rush here to seek for sunshine, and there to find rain. No; it rests in union and communion with the vine; and at the right time, and in the right way, is the right fruit found on it. Let us so abide in the Lord Jesus."

So my friend, let us trust in God for 2019. The Lord is in control of everything; there is no need to worry. Today in prayer, give your anxieties and worries to Him and relax in Christ’s peace.

God’s Word says: “Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:6-7

News:

ð God helped me to travel to 20 states of India and preach the gospel this year. (out of 29 states).

ð, As usual, I taught in the School of Acts Malaysia. It was a week of joy for me and the students.

ð Conducted a Bible seminar for our Bible College SALT DC, students and teachers. Great time.

ð Laid the foundation stone for our new Bible College at Nagpur.

ð Conducted Pastors’ seminar in several states for our mission ministers. It was like kindling a fire in them.

ð Lilly could travel with me in most of the mission trips. She travelled alone too and conducted Pastors’ seminar and ladies’ seminar.

ð I wrote two new books and it will be released in March ‘19. (so 52 books so far. My target is 100 books.)

ð Our messages are very popular on WhatsApp and YouTube. Amazing.

ð Our children are doing well in their respective places.

ð TV ministry is yielding a result. Surya TV Sunday at 6 am and Harvest TV Monday 10 pm. (also I could introduce several other less known ministries to the Christians through interviewing them on Tuesday at 10 pm on Harvest TV).

ð In 2018, I could preach in Kannada TV also.

ð And no bad news. No anxiety. No concern.

Praise God.

Prayer points:

ð Lilly and I are on our preaching spree on 19th December. Lilly will return earlier but I will continue my journey till 12th Feb – travelling coast to coast of Kerala. Pray that we will get a car for 7 weeks. It will ease our travel fatigue. (We both are in our 70’s.)

ð By the grace of God, we both do not feel our age. Not at all.

ð We are planning to move to Nagpur so we could be a fatherly figure for the Bible College. We will be a blessing to the Bible College as well as the Bible College will be a blessing to us in our last leg of our journey. So far, we were stationed in Katra (Jammu Kashmir), Pathankot (Punjab), Delhi, Indore (Madhya Pradesh), Gurugram (Haryana). Next will be our 7th place. We pray that God may give us a small house but a good one for our old age just adjacent to Bible College.

ð I want to go to all the 9 states in 2019 that I did not visit in 2018 and preach.

ð I would like to write other two books too.

ð More strength. Great anointing. Fruitful ministry. More money.

ð I am thinking for a large conference for those whom I am mentoring in 2022 – I will be 80. I want to touch as many as I can to inspire. Billy Graham did it. I attended two of his conferences in Amsterdam. I want to do it and pass on my vision: Kashmir to Kanyakumari India shall be saved.

Praise Report: I thank God that the ministry of IET expanded and became stronger because of the well-planned strategies of the new leaders. I see their wisdom in what they are doing.

2019: Good days are ahead. This is a year of opportunity.
