Dear students, parents, and friends of Grey Matter Academy,

We would like to start by saying thank you. Your support—through our regular courses, competitions, and training camps—has been a big part of our journey. It has been a meaningful year for us, and we are grateful to have you with us. We couldn't have achieved all the impressive results over the years without your support. Historically, 1 out of every 5 GMA students has made it into the Taiwan WSDC development squad. Even more encouraging, this year, 3 out of 5 members of Team Taiwan at WSDC were GMA students. These achievements reflect not just talent, but consistent training and effort.


🚀 Why Summer Camps Matter

From our experience, intensive training over 1–2 weeks is one of the fastest ways to improve in debate. Students get to:

  • Practice repeatedly in a short time
  • Learn from mistakes quickly
  • Build confidence through real rounds

This “trial and error” process helps sharpen intuition. Students start to think faster, speak clearer, and respond better under pressure.


👀 Learn from Experienced Coaches

All our programs are run exclusively by debate coaches with real competitive experience. This means:

  • Advice is practical, not just theoretical
  • Lessons are directly connected to real competitions
  • Students learn strategies that actually work in rounds

We focus on giving clear, constructive feedback that students can apply immediately.


🗓️ Summer Camps Schedule

Beginner Camps (Camp Delta):

  • Camp Delta 1: June 22 – June 26
  • Camp Delta 2: July 6 – July 10

Intermediate Camps (Camp Beta):

  • Camp Beta 1: July 13 – July 22 (weekdays)
  • Camp Beta 2: August 12 – August 21 (weekdays)

Each camp has limited slots, so we strongly encourage early registration.


💥 Special GMA x FJU BP Workshop (University Collaboration)

We are also excited to host a special British Parliamentary (BP) workshop in collaboration with Fu Jen Catholic University.

August 3rd-6th: BP training workshop
August 7th-8th: BP Open Tournament

This is a community-focused project, designed to:
  • Be more affordable
  • Support the growth of Taiwan’s university debate scene
  • Strengthen the overall debate ecosystem
