The news from GHope: December 2013

Dear Friends of Germantown Hope,

We pray you all are well, and we hope you enjoy this year-end news and prayer update put together with contributions from several GHope members. Rachel shares about working with our youth, Minda reflects on prayer walking in the neighborhood with Miss Sis, and Hannah shares from a poem that has spoken to her over the years about Jesus' love for his people.

There are many items for prayer mentioned throughout. Please sustain and build us up through prayer. We are thankful for the many brothers and sisters who have served us in this way over the past ten years.

We have been also thankful for the generous and sacrificial year-end giving of many friends in years past, and ask that you would consider caring for GHope financially at year's end and in the months ahead. In a small and local body like ours, a small gift means a great deal.  For those who may want to meet a specific material need for the church, the newsletter mentions a couple of specific items that we need to replace but don't have room for in our budget.

We would love to talk with you more about life at GHope, so don't hesitate to contact us, or better yet, come for a visit! May the Lord who came to us as a helpless child, who conquered, who reigns, bless and keep you this Christmas season and in the year ahead.
