Hi all,

I have uploaded the electoral rolls for Griffith from 1972,3,4. Note these files are large zip files, with one image file per page within each zip file (200-300mb per zip file).

The 1973 roll seems to be the most useful. Most people were too young for the 1972 roll and later on people had moved away.

They can be of use to:
  • Find people's full names
For example

Judith Rosemary Grindell (aka as Madame Grindell who was a french Teacher).

John Henry Robinson - alleged science teacher.

It can he a big help to know someone's full name when looking through the electoral roll (which can be searched at any electoral office).
  • Find names and addresses of parents and siblings. For example, finding Helen aaa might be easier knowing she has a brother Roy Laurence aaa.
Or, Paula xxx had a Brother Salvatore. Her parents lived at 23 yyy St and there is according to the white pages an S xxx is at 27 yyy St.
  • There is also information about occupations.
Regards,
Tim Josling
