Notes from conversation with Glenda Gall who arranged the last reunion.
Old committee was GG, Alf Trefilo (who knows everybody), David Brown, Jan Gamble PrisCilla Brain, Helen Binks.
Lots of organise. Get started soon, set a date, get a committee together. Last reunion had 50-70 people.
Spouses are OK to attend if they know a few people or are raging extroverts, otherwise come by yourself.
Set a date and ask for expressions of interest well in advance as some people may travel a long way eg Sue MacGlashan (sp?) came from the USA.
Long weekend best.
Agenda for weekend: Fri night drinks at the Area Hotel, Sat School Tour, Dinner. Sunday BBQ and winery tour.
First reunion was 1988, second was 2002. Not too soon for another one. Second one was better than the first one because people had stopped trying to show off. By now we all accept we are not the new Carlos Santana.
GG was not so keen about the idea of a questionnaire with voluntary questions that could be turned into a book "no-one will fill it in". Lots more but Glenda could talk faster than I could write.
