To everyone,

Thank you again to everyone who contributed in some way, either by coming along, or sharing photos, or in other ways.

Financial results from the reunion:

In summary (note this excludes phone calls, Peter Meline's appearance money and so forth)

Spent $3618.66
Received $5392.64
Surplus $1773.98

Why was there a surplus? A lot of people signed on at the last minute so we more than covered the fixed overheads, and nothing went wrong so our contingency went unused.

We are thinking about what to do with the surplus

Possibiliities:

1. Keep for next time.
2. Use it to subsidise a lunch in Sydney early in 2014.
3. Finance a prize for the school. This may be controversial as most people seem to want a sports prize but I am against this as sport was the source of much misery for me at that time.
4. Donation to school for worthy cause. We would need to ask the school for input on this. Perhaps something for the library as they were very helpful.

(4) seems most popular, but we are interested in any creative ideas. There may have been some money (~$250) left over from the previous reunion which we may be able to add to the pool.
