The Gorilla Dance Band will perform this Friday evening at The Last
Concert Cafe, bring on the Texas Psychedelic Funk™

In the words of Supreme Court Justice Potter Stewart, "Texas
Psychedelic Funk™ is hard to define, but I know it when I hear it." He
refers to the melange of musical influence that confuses what the GBD
does.

Take a base of classic rock and rhythm and blues, stir in some country,
some funk, some Texas and Austin influence with an eye to the sonic
flavors of the world and you've got what we call TPF™

Crossing Togo www.crossingtogo.com plays at 10. For $6 cover, stay
and play.

Directions: Please go to www.lastconcert.com ; for directions. If
coming from The Woodlands, when you exit I-45 to I-10 East,
immediately get into far right lane on I-10 and exit Nance or you can
take McKee, Hardy. If you miss these roads you are Screwed, turn on
your GPS!

Instructions: GDB is playing a fund raiser for The Last Organic
Outpost (LOO) at The Last Concert Cafe (LCC). For a $20 donation
(cash please) to LOO, Marcella provides a gourmet dinner with fresh
vegetables from LOO. The donation buys soil, seeds, water, etc. for
LOO. NO one gets paid! Mixed drinks, beer, wine are available at LCC
bar. LCC also has an excellent restaurant that serves late.

In April Gorilla Dance band hopes to host a fund raiser for an old
friend in dire straights. Many of you know Katy and Al Hayes. They are
facing massive hospital expenses.

Saturday, May 1 Gorilla Dance Band will be outdoors at the annual
Houston Area UU Spring Music Festival.

THANKS!!
