Next Meeting and Thoughts

Greetings,

 

I am so thankful to God that there is one show on TV that I can watch and see some quality truthful insight into the chaotic world in which we live. What a quality week of shows Glenn has had this week.

 

What surprises me is that Glenn seems to be the exception instead of the norm. But God has given all his children their own work to do till Jesus returns, and I know that there are millions of people all over the world who have great integrity and are doing great things for God.

 

And so that brings us back to us. What can we do? There is much.

 

One fact that Glenn highlighted this week that stuck out to me was that only about 25% of the people back then wanted America to start a new country and break away from Britain. And about 20% to 25% of the country were opposed to breaking away. The middle 50% to 55% were ambivalent.

 

Wow, very interesting and helpful info. History has been repeating itself from the get go. And this ratio is probably very close to what we have with the Glenn Beck, the right, the tea party, camp versus the left and the socialist camp.

 

What this says to me is that there are around 50% of Americans that are not tuned in and are somewhat apathetic and ignorant about the serious issues that our country and the world are facing.

 

And this tells me that who will win this battle is the side that communicates the best and wins over more of the ambivalent 50%.

 

And that being one of the main purposes of this group is joining together to educate and inform those around us, especially our family, friends and those in the Louisville metro area.

 

We will probably have another meeting in 2 or 3 weeks to try and hone in on how we can best utilize our time and resources as a group to inform and educate this middle 50%. Joining together we can do 10 or 100 times more than we can do as individuals.

 

Remember, God has already won the victory. It is our opportunity and privilege to participate and be a part of the great kingdom and family God is building.

 

Looking forward to our next meeting. There are many ways we can have a great impact.
