The group calling themselves Climate9 are facing trial in Aberdeen,
starting June 9th, with charges related to the blockade of Aberdeen
airport in March 2009. This was a protest against the climate change
impact of aviation, airport expansion and the Trump development.

The Aberdeen “Climate9 launch” is a public meeting in advance of the
trial on why the legal and political system needs to change in order
to stop runaway climate change and protect our future..

Time: 7pm, Friday 4th June
Place: Music Hall (upstairs meeting room)

Speakers will be:

► John Stewart, Chair of Airportwatch (Heathrow campaign).
► One of the Climate9 defendants
