We have already have close to 15 riders going, this is a great ride on a paved trail. There will be a 100 mile group riding at 19-22mph. The century is 90% on the trail with about 10 miles on hilly country roads. This group is planning to head north on the trail first. This direction will be less crowded in the morning and secondly we will do the hilly part off the trail first and get it out of the way. This group will make two rest stops, one at about 40 miles and the 2nd around 70 miles. I will have a horn on my bike to make slower riders on the trail aware we are passing. Be ALERT! there will be recumbent 3 wheelers on the trail and they take up a lot of space, also be aware of upcoming cyclist the
trail is only so wide.
Dinner reservations.
I have made dinner reservations at McLeod http://www.mcleodhousebistro.com/ a very nice little restaurant in Inverness. I have spoken with the owner and chef Michael and he said he will do his best to accommodate our large group. Since it is a very small restaurant Michael wanted me to give him heads up about how many are coming. For now I told him about 15. We most likely will dine outside on the deck because of our size group. Pricing is very reasonable and the food is very good. Most of you have already eaten there on our previous Inverness visits.
Please send me a email if you are planning to eat with our group.
I am very excited to see already so many of
you going and I can't wait to have a great with friends and Camp G2 riders out there.
