Cargo hold 4 & 3 of one of Maersk’s new Triple-E containerships currently under construction at DSME shipyard in South Korea.
The photo offers a look at the unique hull shape used in the design of the Triple-E class. Unlike the V-shaped hull used in Maersk’s E-class, the Triple-E’s feature a more U-like hull, allowing room for an additional row of containers (23 across compared to 22).
