Hey Guys,

I think it would be a good idea to have some kind of newbie friendly
club event a couple of weeks after Genghis Con. We might pick up a
player or two of Genghis and then we have Luke and his brother at
Valhalla's and the two guys at Enchanted Grounds all of whom are
interested in Infinity, but don't seem to have really gotten into it,
yet.

I was thinking of the following options:

1. A "New Players Day." A couple of us could teach new people the
game on a weekend afternoon. If we get a small turnout, then we could
just play each other. =)

2. Begin a campaign. Ian mentioned this before and I thought it was a
GREAT idea, but I have no idea how to run one. Anyone interested in
running something like this? It's okay if it's short. It doesn't
have to run for months and months.

What do you guys think?

I have run several.  I will step to run a campaign or league.

My common sense is tingling!

Fantastic! Even a league would be great, but a story driven campaign
would excellent! Hopefully, you could set it up in such a way that
you could play, too, Lee. I think it would be good to have it start
soon after the con. That way new people would have something fun to
jump right into. What are you thinking, Lee for both the start date
and the type of game?

I will talk to you about it tonight and we can nail more down about it.  I am looking at a set of rules that were designed for 40 k and would be an open challenge system so people would not have to wait for yhier next challenger to finish "last rounds game".

My common sense is tingling!
