Does anyone know what happens when your Lt. dies, and you have more than one "group"?

Lets say I have 16 troops, one group is 9 orders [with the Lt.] and the other is 7 [without an Lt.].  Do I only get 2 orders to split between them?  Or do I get 2 for each? Or do I get 2 for the group of 8 and 7 for my 2nd group?

If the Lt. is still unconscious/ dead at the start of your next turn yo have 2 orders "total" so it would be for both groups. Moral of the story, skip a turn and appoint a new one.

I figured that was the case.  Thank goodness for Chain of command!
