Meeting Tuesday - Village Bean in Avon

Dear All,

 

It doesn't look like I will be able to attend the meeting in Avon on Tuesday. My son has a baseball playoff game at 9:30 that morning and  I only get to attend that game if they don't call me for jury duty.

 

The only ones responding to the last email notice of the meeting were Bob and Jan. I called and left a message for Jason at the DNR.

 

I had a rudimentary agenda going. It's at home and I can send it out later if you would like.

 

The only item I had was concerning the Annual Meeting. I haven't contacted the Peck's yet and was somewhat hesitant about approaching them. Was wondering if you all wouldn't consider a meeting at the Park Shelter at Spring Hill Park, south of Melrose. We could do the picnic/bring a dish thing. It's a gorgeous park. Just a free idea.

 

I also have a check that I will be sending on to Jan for the treasury.

Hi Kurt,

 

It would be appreciated if you sent a copy of your proposed agenda.  After reading your last e-mail, Gene, Haven, Jan and I decided to meet at the Big Birch lake office in downtown Grey Eagle.  We thought it would save some drive miles.  If something has come up for you that you think you can attend, please notify us and we can shift back to Avon yet this evening. Another reason we decided to move was the fact that Jason Robinson did not plan to attend - Gene contacted him this afternoon.

 

Also, Mitch, if you are back in town, please advise at once so that we also can accommodate your driving and shift back to Avon.  We all assumed you were still in the South but we do not want to leave anything to chance.

 

The warmth (and dryness) of the summer still continues.

We are meeting on August 22, 2006 at 9 am at Joseph's in Avon to prepare for our annual meeting mailings. The annual meeting will be held on September 23, 2006 at the Peck's residence. We plan to meet with the Peck's on September 15, 2006 at 2 pm to prepare for the annual meeting.

It doesn't look like I will be able to attend the meeting on 8/22. I am working that day.

 

Just a note, I was hopeful we could begin meeting somewhere else though. I am not a fan of the smokers at Joseph's. You meet where ever you want to though.
