St. Martin Trails Project

Hello "Friends",   Just a note to say that I was able to attend the rescheduled meeting concerning the nine-mile trail project being proposed by a steering group at St. Martin.  When the issue of volunteers came up, I introduced myself as one representing "Friends of the Sauk River".   I said that our group is interested in assisting with projects dealing with the Sauk .    As time progresses, it would seem that the steering committee will need all kinds of help.  Their first objective is to obtain consent of landowners along the proposed route.   I would like the opportunity to comment on this project at our next meeting at Avon on March 16th.  I promise not to exceed 60 minutes.  Just joking!
