Comments on the annual membership meeting

Hi all,

It was really nice to see a great turnout for our first annual membership meeting. After the meeting, I updated the website.

Please let me know if any changes or corrections need to be made. I also loaded up a slide show onto the site, but I don’t know how well it’s functioning. It works fine on my computer at work, but I can’t view it at home on my dial up.

Thank to all for attending and for helping the organization! A special thanks to the Peck’s for hosting the meeting!

Great job Mitch!!! I got all the pictures in the slide show, some of them I had to come back to and try a second time, we have a high speed cable connection. The water monitoring at Little Sauk looked familiar, we haven't been doing the one this year because they were supposed to be doing some work on the dam repair. As a matter of fact all four of the Sauk River sites (from Sauk Lake to Lake Osakis) were removed from our citizens monitoring assignments. The watershed dist has set up som automated ones & the dam repair at Little Sauk. We were pleased with the meeting on Sat too. Ten more new members!!

Congratulations on a wonderful Annual Meeting!

I don't think it could have gone any better, great turnout, new faces and even some tasty treats.. The Peck's couldn't have been nicer and the location was perfect.

Thanks for all you work in setting this up and pulling it off.

It is certainly encouraging to see such a great turnout at the first
annual membership meeting. Our thanks to the Peck's for hosting and to
the FSR leaders for a great job in organizing the meeting. Encouraging
also is the fact that all of the lakes which are connected by the Sauk
we represented at the meeting. We have a great opportunity to work
together where our lake and river management plans have common goals
and objectives.
