Hayek, great companion, died today after a year-long bout with lung cancer.
I would like to thank all of those who have given him treats or pet him, let their dogs play or fight with him (or be humped by him), or accompany him on our walks, who have adjusted to him, who have tolerated his rascality, and who have not called the police.
Thanks to all of you and your little dogs, too.
