The contact information below is intended to help you reach your NYState Senator or Assemblyperson for purposes of complaining about the effort to discriminate against non-residents of New Rochelle at Ward Acres Park.  ($250 per dog per year for non-residents; $50 per dog per year for residents).  It is illegal to do so without the approval of the NYState Commissioner of Parks, Recreation, and Historic Preservation.  We would need to prevent this by applying pressure to our elected representatives and to the new Commissioner, Carol Ash.

 

 

 

Governor Spitzer has appointed

Carol Ash, who served as executive director of the Palisades Interstate Park Commission for the last seven years, as the commissioner of the Department of Parks, Recreation and Historic Preservation.
