Hi Mark, the good news is you will only do the “purge” for 5 days…the bad news is nearly every day is the same!. However, you will soon get into a nice relaxing way of living. There are 2 restaurants and the food is ok, and really reasonably priced, so no cooking or washing up for 28 days hooray! You will have sauna every day which Is good. Once you have finished the purging you will be brought on some walks around the grounds of the Monastery , which is really beautiful with almost everything built by the monks…it is amazing. Living conditions are basic and you won’t have much privacy, but it’s all part of the experience and maybe good to get out of our comfort zone sometimes. Best of luck Mark.

Hello!
I am coming to Thamkrabok in the next few days and just want to get an idea of what the daily process is. If I am to stay for 28 days, should I expect to be purging for the whole 28 days? What does a day at the monastery look like, and is it the same every day for the 28 days? Just trying to get a handle on what the mode of operation is.
