Dear friends and supporters,
Bank Leumi recently announced plans to donate NIS 1,000,000 to worthy Israeli causes. We
are asking for your help so that Keren Malki is awarded some of that grant money.
The bank is asking the public to help it decide which of Israel's smaller non-profits should get a share of the grant money. To do this, they are conducting an online competition called "A Million Good Reasons". This is aimed at socially active non-profit organisations with annual
budgets of 5,000,000 shekels or less. At the conclusion of the competition, grants totaling 1,000,000 shekels will be made to the winning organisations.
Israeli non-profits were invited by Bank Leumi to submit a short video about
their work, and to upload it to the competition website. Now the public is asked to watch those videos and vote for their favorite. It's a popularity competition - the organisations attracting the highest number of votes
win a share of the money.
We at Keren Malki entered the competition by submitting our new
five-minute video clip. Now we are asking for your support to vote for the
Keren Malki video.
How do you vote?
It's simple!
Go to this web-page [
http://www.youtube.com/Leumi1Million?x=u_0ZpOdMbF0
] When you are there, you can vote by clicking on the button with the
Hebrew text ("Press in order to vote"). Right next to that button, there is a
thumbs-up graphic. Even if you cannot read the Hebrew text,
just look for the thumbs up graphic - and click it.
We are asking you to please vote for Keren Malki.
As you know, the work of Keren Malki empowers families of special-needs
children in Israel to choose home care. You can find out more about
Keren Malki's fine work by visiting

Here are the competition's rules:
- You can vote once each day. Any mistakes disqualify all votes of that day from that particular computer.
- Once you vote, you can vote again from a different computer.
- Please vote for us every day until the competition ends!
- Voting ends on 27 December 2010.
Thank
you in advance for voting today for Keren Malki's video... and each day between now and Monday
27 December! And please pass this along to your friends. To vote, you do not need to be living in Israel.
Good wishes,
The Team at Keren Malki
