Dog Park Rules

DOG PARK RULES

Hours: Sunrise to Dusk 7 days a week.

1 Current dog license is required. Dogs must wear NYS license and
rabies tag at all times.
2 Owners must clean up after their dogs and place excrement in
receptacles in the appropriate container.
3 Owners must accompany and supervise their dogs at all times and are
legally responsible for the actions and behavior of their dogs.
4 Dogs must be leashed (six foot long Maximum) outside the exercise
area and owners must carry a leash inside the area.
5 No one under the age of 12 permitted in dog park. Ages 12 to 17 are
not permitted in dog park unless accompanied by an adult.
6 Dogs in heat are prohibited.
7 Dangerous dogs are prohibited. If at any time a dog shows any sign
of being aggressive or dangerous toward people or other dogs, it is to
be removed from the dog park immediately.
8 Puppies under four (4) months of age are prohibited.
9 ALL rawhide, dog treats, toys and food are prohibited.
10 No more than 2 dogs per owner are allowed at one time.
11 Dogs with communicable diseases are prohibited.

Enforcement of these rules is under the immediate supervision of the
Animal Control Officer. Violators of these rules are subject to
removal from the park and fines and penalties
