Dear Friends,

Prof R.N.Iyengars Mahāsalilaṁ, a book on vedāṅga jyotiṣa, should be available in about a month.

The Mahāsalilaṁ introduces observations and quantification in Vedic astronomy through questions and explanations. It contains foundational concepts of Indian astronomy and astrology, including descriptions of planets, eclipses, comets, rainfall, and more.

Regards
Sunder

Why the diacritic in ṁ in Mahāsalilaṁ?? Seems contrary to vyAkaraNa and even the devanAgarI
