A CALLED MAN CAN BE REJECTED
It is true that the calling of God is because of God's sovereign
choice and grace. No man deserves to be called. Nevertheless, a
man's faithfulness must be tested and approved before he receives the
crown of life.
Paul wrote this about himself:
"But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by
any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a
castaway." 1 Corinthians 9:27
27 But235 I keep under5299 my3450 body,4983 and2532 bring it into
subjection:1396 lest that by any means,3381 when I have preached2784
to others,243 I myself848 should be1096 a castaway.96
