Welcome here !

Freewpc should work fine when you want to build a new pinball machine.

 

I was also a bit overwhelmed when I started, there is a learning curve, but I found the best is to start with small things and check out the code of the existing machines (Corvette, TZ, WCS, ..).. most things you would want have already been implemented somewhere.

I hope to learn enough about FreeWPC in this group, i just read something and my first image is that isn't so easy.
My final goal is build a new pinball with this system. I have one Dataman S4 512 Kb that i hope would be a precious help with this task.
