B-CIMF Starts Evening!

The Boise Creative and Improvised Music Festival starts this evening! We have an excellent event planned and I hope all you Boiseans will be able to come out and check out some fantastic music and art, performances that you won't have an opportunity to see and hear in Boise very often. Nowhere in Idaho will you be able to find such a concentrated collection of this style of music. It is truly awesome!

We have musicians from all over North America, several local visual artists painting with performances, and Thee Art Of and its crew shooting the event in video and still.

The event starts this evening 7:30pm, goes to 10pm, and then picks up again on Saturday at 1:30pm, going again to 10:30pm.

We have an eclectic mix of musicians...free jazz, avant-garde, electro-acoustic, creative electronic, free improvisation, and perhaps other uncategorizable forms.

We'll also have B-CIMF T-shirts and prior year posters for sale for you die-hard enthusiasts.

Don't miss B-CIMF! This is your chance to support highly creative and unusual forms of music art. The event is FREE of charge, and your presence is the best thing you can offer the festival to show your appreciation toward the artists.

See you there!
