* The Meaning of Two Primary High DISC Behaviors When They're Equal by Sandy Karn
If we observe a person who is a High D behavior, and we notice that they have a High I behavior as well, then we need to consider our approach to both of these behaviors, rather than just one.
When you're working with a person who has the High DI factors, you'll want to develop strategies with them that concentrate on their goal of personal control and their natural fear of being taken advantage of.
At the same time, you'll want to create a people-oriented approach with them. If you're selling something to them, show how your product or service will increase their influence and approval by others.
In a case like this, you'll need to address all of the above issues in order to build rapport with them. One is just as important as the other.
Let's take a look at the other two DISC factors when you have the High SC factors to think about in your communication styles.
When you're talking to the High S part of a person, make a point to ask enough questions to determine how your service will provide them the support they're looking for. Emphasize how you can help them simplify and stabilize their existing relationships and best practices.
If the High S person also has a High C factor in their behavioral pattern, then be prepared to address your product or service performance record. In any way you can, give them more specifics to satisfy their need to eliminate risks. Be accurate in your shared information with them, as you appeal to any quality concerns they might have.
Since their predominant styles are the High SC, you'll need to include all the above factors for them to be able to make a decision to do business with you.
Wishing you the best in observing the possible equal behaviors in people, so you can optimize your communications with them,
