Oregon Live had an article last night that a final was reached on
boundaries for vote next week. It sounded like they were splitting
Lane, keeping Bridger in Franklin zone and having Creston and
Woodstock "stay the same". No mention if they were going to keep all
of Sunnyside at Franklin. Haven't seen anything else on this. Has a
new map been published? Is there more info out there?

Greg,

Sunnyside was not one of the schools under the "to be determined"
options that came out of the already passed (by full board) boundary
changes. So yes, Sunnyside is going to Franklin.

Although not formally approved by the board (the vote is Monday December 13th), they do have a recommendation from the Superintendent that I'm sure will be approved.

In short here are the details regarding the boundary adjustments affecting Marshall, Franklin and Cleveland.

1. Entire Harrison Park boundary to attend Madison
2. Entire Bridger boundary to attend Franklin
3. Entire Lent boundary to attend Franklin
4. Entire Marysville boundary to attend Franklin
5. Kelly and Woodmere portion of Lane to attend Franklin
6. Whitman portion of Lane to attend Cleveland
7. Creston to remain at Franklin
8. Woodstock to remain at Cleveland

** Note that there are other changes in the Madison cluster in relation to Jefferson, but these have not been determined yet and will not affect Franklin.

Everything else stays the same.
P.S. I have not seen an updated map yet.

Currently part of Sunnyside goes to Cleveland and I heard some talk
that there was a movement to retain that.
