Scholarships Available
Applications for college scholarships are now available for high school seniors through the Elks Most Valuable Student Scholarship program. Awards up to $60,000 can be received by high school seniors who exhibit scholarship, leadership and have financial need. Applications can be found online at http://www.elks.org/enf/scholars/mvs.cfm. Applicants must have their application turned in to the Elks lodge nearest to where they live no later than December 1, 2010. Applications advance through local, district and state competitions, where awards are given, to reach the national level. For more information, call Emma Pletz at 503.285.5853.
