The following is an announcement for the upcomming PTA meeting Wednesday November 10th.

I have sent a flyer with this invite to the communities noted below via their school administrators.

Feel free to pass along the info.

Franklin High School PTA presents:     District Dialogue

What:                                An evening conversation with the district administration regarding the upcoming

High School boundary changes due to the closure of Marshall.

Who:                                  - Judy Brennan – PPS Enrollment & Transfer Department.

- Members from the Franklin, Marshall and Cleveland area school community including the following schools.

                               7:00pm – 8:30pm

Where:             Franklin High School     5405 SE Woodward St. – Portland, OR 97206

  • How will boundaries adjustments be determined?
  • What are the current boundary options on the table?
  • How will the proposed changes affect you and your family?
  • What is the timeline for the proposed changes?

The Franklin High School PTA presents an opportunity for the Franklin, Marshall and Cleveland communities to hear first- hand about the upcoming high school boundary changes due to the closure of the Marshall campus.    There are 3 options currently on the table, substantially altering the feeder patterns in outer Eastside PPS.   These changes not only affect the Marshall feeder school communities, but potentially those in the Creston and Woodstock areas.

Here’s your chance to find out details, ask questions and get answers.

Hope to see you there.
