Hi Everyone,
Insurance companies are not typically forthcoming regarding provider
changes so I wanted to pass this onto you.
Beginning March 23, insurance companies will be requiring a provider
NPI number and as I understand it, this NPI will replace the
provider's EIN and/or Social Security number for claims. The
application links are below.

Application for NPI
Also, within this application it is required that you list a Taxonomy
code.

But surprise surprise - there is no code for Behavior Analysis. For
this reason it is important for all of us to request a new code to be
developed under Behavioral Health/Behavioral Management. It only takes
a few minutes. Here is the direct link to request those changes.http://

Please pass this onto other behavior analysts in the area so they will
(hopefully) be bombarded with requests for a code specifically for
Behavior Analysts!
Thank you,
