Hi all,
We should plan some summer activities! I assume Chimney Rock will be happening, and likely something later at Mesa Verde. We are still trying to get the rooftop observatory on the new building ready for regular public viewing, but it isn’t there yet. Soon, I hope. We can have a group star party at the Old Fort observatory on much shorter notice, if there is interest.
Right now I am just trying to get the conversation started.

I took my scope out last night. Tons of cool things to see on this side of the milky way, now. I think Steve and me are gonna do it again Saturday, if you wanna come up to my place. Open to anyone, really.

This was definitely a play it by ear event. I need to head out to change a desiccant and sync the mount this evening. Mentioned it on the Facebook page, but I know not everyone looks at that.
