GREAT turnout by our group for another nearly-perfect night at Chimney Rock Friday night. Big group of 60-plus REALLY enjoyed our presentation, many stayed past midnight after patiently waiting for the near-Solstice darkness to fall. 20" at full power, as were numerous other superb viewing instruments.
On to Andrews Lake next Sat for one of our SIGNATURE events of the season--hope to see MANY of you next week. Forecast a bit tight--but still looks favorable for Sat night. Don't forget to dress warmly--this is a HIGH ALTITUDE (11K) event.
