Hey Jeff, I was wondering if you could recommend a good filter for viewing deep sky objects?  The views in your scope are awesome.  Thanks.

Depends on the object. I've got an o3 for the veil, a hydrogen alpha, and uhc.

The latter two are brand "optolong" which seemed cheep Chinese at first since they were only $30 bucks each, whereas Orion is selling them for $100. Then, I read optolong is the house brand for the factory that's making them for Orion anyway so I decided to try them. They tend to work out pretty well.
