Chimney Rock will need us there around 7:30, and we usually leave around midnight. You can leave whenever you'd like though.
Most of us will likely be at Chimney Rock this time around.
I’m going to Andrews lake Friday with the camera club. I’ll come to Lemon Lake Saturday. I live in the Hermosa area. Any advice on where might be the best place for the eclipse Monday. Will anything be visible from here? Bob Hutson

Yes. They are trying to do an outing each month. I think the shift this month is because of the fair. Last month they hiked about coal bank for wildflowers. Last year I went with them for a milky way and arches shoot down near Aztec.
Yeah, I wish they'd coordinate at least a little, to be on different days.Happy Connecting. Sent from my Sprint Samsung Galaxy S® 5

Subject: Re: [Four-Corners-Stargazers:1042] Weekend EventsUnfortunately, the CRIA needs us set up and ready before they send the crowd up at Chimney Rock, so we have to be there early. They probably won't let you up past then. It's too bad that the planetarium events have been scheduled at the same time these last few months though. Even if they had a bigger time separation, that hour and a half drive between them is a bit much.

The meetings are on Thursdays. Outings have not been not been on Thursdays.
I doubt they will do this but it would be nice if they had a council which tried to coordinate clubs. Not sure you can do this with government organizations. It seems one day I have 3 things to go to and the rest of the week none.
