Topic: Continuing our study of Justice: What's the Right Thing to Do? by Michael Sandel with Chapter 6, "The Case for Equality" - John Rawls, pp. 140-166.
Rawls is perhaps the most influential social philosopher of our time. In this chapter, he develops a social contract view of justice that leads to an egalitarian stance. It is a powerful perspective, but not without shortcomings.
