*Skip coordinated the planning, construction and opening of the Clinton Presidential Library and served as the first president of the Clinton Foundation. From 2006-2021 he was Dean of the University of Arkansas Clinton School of Public Service.
*Ran the Arkansas office of Senator David Pryor (1979-1984) traveling across Arkansas assisting people in all walks of life with a wide range of issues.
*Served as an advisor to then-Governor Bill Clinton's Presidential Campaign Staff, responsible for grassroots efforts in several states.
*Served as the first president of the Clinton Foundation where he coordinated planning, fundraising, construction and opening of the William J. Clinton Presidential Center and Park, the largest non-government-funded construction project in the city of Little Rock.
