Speaker:  Dr. Diane Robinson, longtime member and friend of the Forum 

Topic:  "Using AI Wisely: Promise, Peril, and the Planet"  

Diane teaches and consults on a variety of court-related topics, including AI, data governance and guardianship.  *See below for more detailed information

Here's Diane's bio information for those of you who'd like to check out her bona fides!

She teaches and consults on a variety of court-related topics, including caseflow management, AI, data literacy and adult guardianship. She served as a Principal Court Research Associate in National Center for State Court's Research Division from 2019-2026. While at NCSC, Dr. Robinson's project work focused on data governance, including data collection, data quality, use of data, and data sharing. She led the TRI/NCSC AI Policy Consortium on Law and Courts, the National Open Court Data Standards (NODS) implementation project, and authored the data governance guide for the Court Statistics Project. Dr. Robinson also led the Center for Elders and the Courts, focusing on improved data collection as well as monitoring of guardianships and conservatorships. Previously, she served as the Director of Research and Justice Statistics and as the state director of the CASA program for the Arkansas court system.

She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences, her M.S. in Education at Indiana University and her B.A. at Texas A&M University.

Community service includes six years on the Conway School Board, service on the Conway Historic District Commission, Safe Routes to Schools Board.
