I have a large fully matured black bamboo clump in my backyard. My
intension is too prune it and I was told I could sell it if I prepared
it properly. I was told it can be used for hardwood flooring, but I
do not know who would be interested in buying it. Please respond if
you know anything about this opportunity.

Cory,

Please have it identified first by a professional. That will save a lot
of headaches.

I would like a few of the fresh cut culms to try and propergate, but
most people I know including me would rather dig a small division to
start a new plant, and that would in a way prune back perhaps for you
too. If you get a chance it would be very interesting to see a photo
of it on this forum or at bambooweb.info, can you post one? Also try
the forum at bambooweb.info someone there might know.
