Hey Folks,
The Sarasota Bamboo Society will have its first meeting this Saturday,
February 21st at 10 AM at Selby Gardens.
They'll be a couple of presentations and topics include species
selection, planting and pest management tips, construction, and
sculpture. We'll do all of this in about hour and a half and conclude
the meeting with a raffle (for a bamboo plant) and a tour of the new
bamboo area at Selby Gardens.
If you'd like to attend, RSVPs are helpful. We'll be serving fresh
coffee from Local Coffee and Tea as well as refreshments.

I hope this link isn't blocked by the listserve. It's got some neat pictures and movies of the sculpture being built.
I noticed the one at the bottom was at Miami in December.
