**FYT Audition Announcement for "Joseph & The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat"**

Hey All - Are you looking for a fun activity to start the new year off
with a bang?? If so then you won't want to miss the auditions for
"Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat".
Who: Ages 9-13 for the kids chorus, 14-adult for the leads & main
stage chorus
What: A very large scale rock opera style musical for the stage
Where: FHS Main Auditorium
When: Wednesday January 5th (everyone) & Thursday January 6th (call
backs for leads) 5:30 - 8:30pm both nights
Why: Because we love to perform and learn new things!!
How to prepare: Come ready to sing a 2min or less song, dance the
steps we give you, and have a lot of fun.
This will be a lengthy process to get everything learned and staged
because it is all music & dance. So the practices begin in Jan & we
perform in Apr. Don't let that freak you out & not want to
participate. Not everyone will be at all the practices. We are not
practicing over spring break at all & we are done performing before
Easter weekend. For now we are scheduled to practice on Tuesdays,
Thursdays, and Saturday mornings. If we are learning things quickly &
easily then we will shorten the amount of practices we have to just
Tuesday & Saturday but that will depend on all of you. The schedule
breakdown is listed below.
Auditions: Jan 5 & 6th 5:30 - 8:30pm (FHS Auditorium)
Business Mtg & 1st practice: Jan 8th 9am - 1pm (Flag Middle School
Gym)
(Tues & Thurs 6-8:30pm, Sat 9am - 1pm All at FHS Main Aud. unless
otherwise noted on the calendar you receive - we have a few practices
at the Flag Middle School Gym)
Practices: Jan 11, 13, 15, 18, 20, 22, 25, 27, 29,
Feb 1, 3, 5, 8,10,12,15,17,19, 22, 24, 26,
Mar 1, 3, 5, 8,10, 22, 24, 26, 29, 31, Apr 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7
Performances: Apr 8, 9, 10, 15,16,17
