Greetings, everyone.
I've attached a flyer about an exciting event about work that continues to be crucial over many decades to ensure that women's equal treatment under the law, in the workplace, in the public square, with respect to educational opportunities and in society in general. Judith Kalora's critically acclaimed dramatic portrayal of Lucy Stone in her many fierce battles to fight for women's rights in general as well as the right to vote is still a gripping reminder of the importance to continue to work to ensure women's rights at many levels. This event will provide a thoroughly enteraining and inspiring evening that will energize attendees in their current efforts to ensure equality and justice for themselves and others. This event will be educational and entertaining for men, women, and youth. It will provide opportunities to demonstrate to First Parish youth ways in which they can develop into adults who respect the rights of all to be treated with dignity and equality.
Reservations are not absolutely required, but extremely helpful to those of us planning the event, including refreshments. Just send me an email at pek...@comcast.net or call the office at 978-369-9602.
Best regards,
Dian Pekin, Program Chair
