You Deserve a Tea Break!

Friday, March 19 at 7:00 P.M. – WPA Zoom Meeting

This past year has been challenging, to say the least. It’s time to take a relaxing break to sip some tea with friends and learn about the history, culture, artisanry and politics of tea in a fascinating presentation by tea afficianado, educator, and artist, Paul Angiolillo. Possibly no other plant has influenced human doings as much the tea plant. From China, India, and Japan, to the Middle East, Europe, and the Americas, it played a major role in trade, culture, politics, technology and artisanry.  Maybe your life and the life of your ancestors have, unknown by you, been changed by tea. Paul will cover the history of tea, from ancient Chinese tea masters to the Industrial Revolution and modern craft designs, with stops in Tibet, Russia, the Middle East, Japan and New England. Brew your favorite cup of tea in a favorite tea cup and join us for a very interesting, educational and pleasant evening.
