The UUA gives us a list of interested ministers this Friday, Nov. 30th. On that day we will restrict our packet Web site to candidates. So, you still have 2 more days to look at the site.
As soon as receive the names from the UUA, we begin operating in confidential mode – as we begin examining candidate materials, interview candidates, and check references. We will continue to provide you with as much information as we consider to be prudent.

Members of a Ministerial Search Committee find a minister they feel would be an excellent fit for the congregation. One member is concerned because the minister identifies as transgender and the congregational survey specifically indicates a portion of the congregation does not feel comfortable with someone who is transgender. The committee must decide if they should pursue this best fit or play it safer and move onto a second choice? Whose problem is this and how should it be handled?
