The Ministerial Search Committee is thrilled to unveil to you our FINAL Packet Web site at www.fpsearch.org. After ministers review our Congregational Record, this is the second batch of information we send candidates we are interested in. We think the site is clean, easy-to-navigate, and full of useful information. Please note that this packet is available for YOUR perusal ONLY until the end of November, when we expect to receive names of ministers interested in our congregation. After November, the site becomes available only to ministerial candidates selected by the MSC. To view the site this month you will need to enter --  user: first and password: parish

Next Sunday, Nov. 18, at 1 PM we will meet with Elaine via Skype to practice interviewing her. She has volunteered to be our guinea pig. And we’re grateful.

Consider This! (adapted from the BCT Workshop): UUA Case Study #4 (another true story!)
Let’s say we’ve selected a single bisexual minister as our candidate. During candidating week, a member of the Standing Committee is told secondhand that some parishioners are afraid the new minister will sleep around within the congregation and worry that will be a bad role model for our children. Whose problem is this and how should it be handled?
